Interagency Workshop / TTX - BiH
In week of July 13-16, 2010 Sarajevo, BiH hosted Interagency Workshop / TTX organized by Ministry of Security Bosnia and Herzegovina. 61 participant from Federation BiH, Republika Srpska and District Brcko together with 8 US representatives from USACE, FEMA and Maryland National Guard conducted exercise based on scenario that included major disasters in different regions in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Since exercise was run in real time, Exercise Control Group (ECG) had key role on scenario inputs and participants from different entities and organizations responded as quickly as possible in providing help and solutions. GIS group participated in exercise providing maps of impacted regions.
Sea Breeze -2010
The official opening ceremony for the coastal phase of the Ukrainian-American exercise Sea Breeze - 2010 took place on the 13th of July at the Joint training area "Shyroky Lan" in the Mykolaiv in Ukraine.
Current exercise in the "Sea Breeze" series are based on the following scenario "Planning and implementation of international anti-piracy operations" and are intended to work on the international standards of cooperation between multinational staffs and forces during the preparation and conduct of the operation.
